Working together to bring a sense of safety and community to you.

Oak Shores Property Owners' Association was founded in 1973. There are 735 lots (see map) owned by a total of 267 ownership families and/or organizations. We are fortunate to be so close to the wonderful city lake of Nocona, Texas and have the ability to enjoy the water activities.

Oak Shores Property Owners' Association has created this site to provide and store information related to the Oak Shores Property Owners' Association. All members of the Board are volunteers supporting the Oak Shores Property Owners' Association as outlined in the By-Laws which should have been provided to each homeowner at closing. The content in this site is provided as is and does not replace any actual official documents.

The primary activity of the Oak Shores Property Owners' Association is to implement the provisions outlined in Restrictions and Covenants and Amended By Laws. In addition the OSPOA provides oversight to potential violations of other Articles of the Declaration, such as failure to maintain the exterior of the house or lots.

Any homeowner/lot owner who believes there is a violation of one of the provisions of the By-Laws may contact the OSPOA Board of Directors (OSPOABOD). The OSPOABOD will review the complaint to determine if any action is required and, if appropriate, the OSPOABOD will contact the homeowner/lot owner in writing to inform them of the violation. The initial letter will request a response within (30) days. If no response is received within (30) days, the OSPOABOD will send a second letter advising action on their part is required immediately. After reviewing any responses from the homeowner/ lot owner, or the lack thereof, the OSPOABOD will consider appropriate actions or consequences.Â
